The Featured Home Tours

Modernism Week Featured Home: “Seventies Sackley”

Step through an expansive formal entry way to take in this stunning 1975 Palm Springs residence by noted architect Stan Sackley. Boasting deep midcentury roots and distinctive architectural styles, the home was recently reimagined by interior designers Michael Ostrow and Roger Stoker of Grace Home Furnishings.

Modernism Week Featured Home: “Sunburst Palms”

Enjoy the sunshine as you join us on a home tour of “Sunburst Palms,” H3K Design‘s latest renovation in the historic neighborhood of Deepwell in Palm Springs. Designed by Lawrence Lapham and built for Academy Award Winner Edward “Bud” Furer in 1956, this quintessentially midcentury modern house features a sweeping tongue and groove flat roof that spans the entire width of the property.

Next year, we’ll be embarking on ModernismWeek@Sea, a 12-day cruise to seven culturally significant ports in the Baltic region that demonstrate how modern influences in architecture and design have been artfully folded into these cities.
