It’s nearly impossible to talk about Modernism without bringing up the era’s impeccable style – the midcentury was great for glam and as such, Modernism Week brings you an impressive fashion line up for 2016. Fashion & Architecture – Inside, Outside and Side by Side
Susan Stein leads a second conversation on the intersection of Fashion and Architecture and how the two have influenced each other throughout the ages. The creations of midcentury and modern designers will be highlighted as they relate to iconic midcentury architecture.

A Conversation with Janie Bryant and Trina Turk
Janie Bryant, Emmy Award winning Costume Designer of Mad Men, sits down with fashion maven Trina Turk to dish about Mad Men‘s authentic and influential wardrobe helped put the show on the map. The designers will discuss how vintage fashion influences current pop culture and style, and the part Mad Men has played in the retro revolution. February 18th at the Annenberg Theater.

Your Signature Modernist Style
Susan Stein teams up with William Squire to present Your Signature Modernist Style, handing down tips and tricks for fashion, make-up and hair for the era as well as an array of do’s and don’ts. A few lucky attendees will be selected to receive an on-site makeover so vintage attire is encouraged! February 19th at CAMP.

Lisa Perry: Off the Runway
The east coast queen of cool – she’s not only a mod-inspired designer, but a part owner of Barneys – will be in conversation with photographer Shari Applebaum at CAMP, revealing her inspiration and a retrospective of select iconic pieces from her eponymous line. February 20th at CAMP.
